is there a difference between fenders for a yacht and a motor boat? Have checked out some for sale on e-bay and they say are described as boat yacht & I don't know if this is refering to a catagory or it's intended use. Hope you can help - thanks! thanks for info so far... the boat is 28mts and the fenders are 24" long & 8" dia - the sausage shape! Oh yes they say they come flat packed and are inflatable. Are these the best type to buy, or do they also come already inflated? THANKS VERY MUCH FOR INFO SO FAR GUYS!

I am a scout leader and am interested in tieing knots, I would like to learn to tie a boat fender.

Rubber fenders, they are white and i wiuld like to paint them blue. Is there a special paint available ?
